Google announced last Wednesday that businesses in Google Maps can now list themselves as women-led, owned, or founded whenever applicable.

In celebration of Women’s Day, Google said that users will now be able to see an icon with the female gender symbol on such businesses, along with other descriptors like kosher food, outdoor seating and Wi-Fi.

Google spokeswoman Liz Davidoff said that the search giant is striving to organize the world’s information to be inclusive of all people, and that they to empower women-led businesses to success online.
