Facebook’s Head of Product Guy Rosen recently admitted that the company’s recent child abuse survey had been a mistake.

Last week, Facebook asked several selected users their opinion on how child abuse images should be handled on the platform. One of the questions presented a situation in which an “adult man” asks a 14-year-old girl for “sexual images” to which Facebook provided one option which says “This content should be allowed on Facebook, and I would not mind seeing it.”

Facebook had already concluded the survey and Rosen reiterated that such activity is and will always be completely unacceptable on FB and should not have been part of the survey.
