Tech website TechCrunch recently confirmed that Facebook is testing a new downvoting system that will allow users to hide comments and give feedback on them.

The company announced a number of other planned improvements to the platform, but denied that they were rolling out a dislike button which had been previously requested by users.

The new measure is currently available only to a small test group in the US. The users are given the option to flag a post as “offensive”, “misleading” or “off-topic”.
