In a recent interview, Huawei’s chief executive Richard Yu said that the US is attempting to keep the Chinese company out because of its competitiveness.
The US government recently issued a strong warning against the Chinese phone maker, calling it a security concern. However, Yu confidently said that Huawei had been posting significant annual growth and that they have a big chance at being the top global mobile manufacturer.
Yu added that even with their leading innovations and technologies, politicians in the US are trying to shut them out for being too strong. In the interview, Yu also mentioned that the company is one of the leaders in the development of artificial intelligence in China, and unveiled a car driven with a Huawei smartphone featuring their AI technology.
