Singapore — The Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CFTE) is collaborating closely with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to develop a financial technology (fintech) education hub for finance professionals.
The CFTE was established in May to provide an education program for professionals in the ever-changing field of digital finance. Working with MAS also enables them to extend the platform to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), where professionals can share more information and strategies.
MAS chief fintech officer Sopnendu Mohanty stated that people are a vital resource for success in fintech. The initiative came following the increasing need for highly-knowledgeable professionals who can adapt and lead others in the digital financial industry.
The CFTE will provide a wide range of courses, including coding, blockchain , RegTech, and artificial intelligence seminars. They will be provided through in-class training online.
