Addressing the Joint Standing Committee on Trade and Investment Growth last Friday, Huawei’s VP of Global Government Affairs Simon Lacey said that national security concerns should not be used as a “blank cheque” to justify protectionism. Twitter Employee Deactivates Trump’s Twitter on Last Day of Work

The Twitter account of US President Donald Trump was temporarily taken offline after a Twitter employee deactivated it on his last day of work. The account was shut down for around 11 minutes, but has since been restored. Twitter initially said that the incident was caused by human error, but later confirmed that it was a deliberate action by an employee.
