UK Launches Cyber Attack Against Islamic State

GCHQ director Jeremy Fleming revealed this week that they have launched a cyber major offensive cyber-campaign against the Islamic State Group, also known as Daesh. Fleming said that they were able to prevent the IS’ ability to coordinate attacks and also stopped them from spreading propaganda. Top UK Security Official Call on Social Media Companies to Block Militant Content

Home Secretary Amber Rudd recently urged social media companies to come up with automated systems that would identify and block violent militant content before it gets published.
