The a number of US tech companies, which included some major players, called on President Donald Trump to continue the DACA program.

An initiative made under the Obama administration, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), or Dreamers Program, sought to give young immigrants a chance to stay in the country to work or study, instead of getting deported.

In an open letter, companies such as Amazon, Google, and Facebook also urged Congress to pass the bipartisan DREAM Act, stating that the previous DACA recipients are now diligently paying taxes and giving back to the community.
