Ride-hailing giant Uber unveiled this week a new app aimed at improving their drivers’ experience, which, according to the company’s head, is part of their “180 days of change” program.

Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi revealed that the Driver app will include a number of features requested by drivers such as a real-time earnings tracker, a new status bar to help them decide their next location based on a spike in requests, and a notification feature that alerts drivers about upcoming earning opportunities.

The program and the app is part of Uber’s series of improvements which it had announced June last year, prompted by years of complaints by drivers about their pay and treatment.
