48 Google Employees Fired for Sexual Misconduct

Google CEO Sundar Pichai revealed in an email to the firm’s employees that 48 individuals had already been fired for sexual misconduct over the last two years.
The revelation is said to be Pichai’s response to a New York Times report accusing the search giant of shielding employees from sexual misconduct allegations, including Android creator Andy Rubin who was reportedly offered a massive payout in order to leave the company.
In his email, Pichai also said that 13 out of the 48 employees who got fired were senior managers and higher, and did not receive an exit package from the company.
