Cybersecurity expert Alex Hamerstone said this week in a CNBC interview that 5G networks may pose a greater risk than its predecessor since an attacker would be able to traverse the network better.
Meanwhile, senior VP of the Center for Strategic and International Studies James Lewis said that a lot of countries will choose to buy 5G equipment from Chinese companies, particularly Huawei, since it is heavily subsidized and will go out of its way to give buyers a good deal.
