Amazon Ad Sale Expected to Take Business from Google, Facebook
It has been reported this week that Amazon’s ad sale move, which had helped double the ecommerce giant’s profits on Thursday, is expected to encroach on Facebook and Google’s ad business.
While Amazon’s advertising revenue is still dwarfed by the internet duopoly of Facebook and Google, it is already growing rapidly, even outselling ads on Snapchat and Twitter.
Fabric Media founder Jason Demata also says that amazon has an edge over its competitors since it has data on its users’ purchases. He also revealed that some of his clients saw a sales jump after directing their ad budget on Amazon.
