
BIR Issues Guidelines for the Updating of Information of Taxpayers who will Use the BIR’s Online Registration and Update System

In Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 122-2022, issued last August 22, 2022, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) prescribed the guidelines in the updating of registration information record of taxpayers who will enroll in the Bureau’s Online Registration and Update System (ORUS).
The guidelines cover all taxpayers who intend to transact online with the BIR through the ORUS, once available, and those who are currently transacting manually for their registration-related transactions. The registration records that are to be updated include email address and contact information using the S1905 – Registration Update Sheet (RUS).
