China Tells US to Stop Fabricating Facts on Cybersecurity Issue
0 comments
China recently criticized the US of fabricating facts on the matter involving two Chinese nationals charged with hacking various companies and government agencies in over a dozen countries.
In a strongly-worded statement, China’s foreign ministry urged the US to “stop smearing the Chinese side on cybersecurity issues,”, and called for the charges to be dropped “to avoid serious damage to the relations between the two countries”.
Foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying added that it has been an open secret for US departments to conduct large-scale and organized network theft and various monitoring activities against foreign governments, enterprises and individuals.
