Chinese Gay Dating App Stops User Registration on HIV Reports

Chinese gay dating app Blued said last Sunday that it has suspended new registrations after receiving reports of ungeraged users catching HIV from dates on its platform.
Considered to be the world’s largest LGBT dating app, Blued committed to launching a comprehensive content audit and regulation and vowed to crack down on users posing as adults and any content that involve minors.
The gay dating app company, which was launched in 2010 by an ex-police officer, now has 40 million registered users and is backed by state-run media Beijing News.
