Costs from Scandals Expected to Decrease in 2019, Facebook Tells Investors

Facebook assured investors this week that the decrease in margins will cease in 2019 as costs from scandals ease up.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that while costs brought by growing user interest in private messaging, video, and safe content may rise faster than revenue, he is focused on bringing them in line.

Zuckerberg also mentioned that the company also has to deal with the challenge of new users that come from countries including India, Indonesia and Philippines, where advertisers focus more on TV, print and outdoor advertising.
