Customer Data Possibly Accessed Externally in PageUp Breach

SaaS HR provider PageUp, who has recently been hit by a malware attack, said that there is a possibility that data such as names, street addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers of its clients may have been accessed externally.

Forensic investigators said they found evidence of access by an unauthorized person, and while the incident has already been contained, some data may still be at risk.

However, the company says that employment contracts, applicant resumes, Australian tax file numbers, credit card information, or bank account information were not affected. The data contained in their onboarding, performance, learning, compensation, or succession modules were also not affected.
