DICT Registers More Than 40M Users As Of March

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) announces that 40,498,324 SIM card users have registered as of March 5, 2023. These users represent 23.97% of all SIM card users in the country.

 

DICT Undersecretary and Spokesperson Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo urges those who have not yet registered to do so “[t]o avoid user traffic and to ensure a hassle-free process.” According to the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), users have until April 26, 2023 to register.

 

The DICT likewise urges users to be cautious when registering their SIM. The official website of the public communication entities (PTEs) are as follows:

  • GLOBE – new.globe.com.ph/simreg
  • DITO – https://digital.dito.ph/pto/download/app
