Sources have revealed this week that Google is likely to be slapped by the European Commission with a second fine that may exceed the first one that which amounted to 2.4 billion euro.
The search giant is being accused of using its Android operating system to squeeze out the competition. However, it is said that the case is unlikely to have an impact on Google due to its market power and the benefits that it provides its partners.
It is also said that Google’s AdSense antitrust case, which began in 2016, may drag on as far as the end of this year.
