Facebook Launches YouthPortal Data Guidance Center for Teens

Facebook releases this week its YouthPortal resource page which according to the company seeks to inform teens how they can stay safe on the platform.

YouthPortal is said to be a part of the company’s effort to address the lack of attention being paid to ensuring that kids and teens feel safe online and use the internet responsibly. Topics such as navigating Facebook’s service, staying secure online, and how personal information is used by the company are discussed in an easy to understand format designed to help Gen Z users start their internet usage off on the right foot.

The resource page is now live and available in 60 languages worldwide.
