Facebook Rolls Out Watch Video Service Worldwide

Facebook officially rolled out this week its Facebook Watch video-streaming service worldwide, a little over a year after it was first launched in the US.
Viewed as Facebook’s answer to Google’s YouTube, users will also be able to watch a range of longer videos and save them for later viewing on platform. Facebook says that content creators will be able to feature ad breaks, but the option is only available to select publishers as of now.
Big name stars such as Jada Pinkett Smith, Elizabeth Olsen, Bear Grylls, as well as companies like ABC, Fox News, and Buzzfeed have reportedly been involved in the creation of original programming for the platform.
