Facebook Scores User Trustworthiness to Fight Against Fake News

The Washington Post said this week that Facebook is now using a system that scores users’ trustworthiness in its efforts to fight against misinformation.

It was also revealed that the social media giant had developed the rating system as early as last year. The information was based on an interview with Facebook product manager Tessa Lyons, who is in charge of the firm’s efforts to identify malicious actors.
