Four New Security Features Introduced for Google Accounts

Google announced this week four new features the will bolster the security of the login process and aid recovery in the event of a hack on Google accounts.

Google’s Jonathan Skelker says that users will no longer be able to sign in if their Javascript is disabled. For Android phones, Google will also use the data from Google Play Protect to first check if any malicious apps are installed on the user’s device.

Google will also check and provide the user a notification on the third-party apps and websites that had accessed information from the account in the past. Additionally, the search giant said that it has rolled out new set of procedures for regaining access and re-securing compromised profiles.
