G Suite Update Alerts Companies Against Unauthorized Data Exports

Google rolled out this week an update to its G Suite which alerts companies when an unauthorized “data export” operation takes place.
Google said that since data export operations last around 72 hours, admin account owners or other admin accounts would likely be able to detect and investigate it before any data theft happens.
The alerts will also be retained for 30 days so that attackers won’t be able to delete them before an admin sees them.
This week’s massive update also included improved phishing detection for Gmail accounts managed via G Suite.
