Georgia Democratic Party Accused of Cyber Crimes
0 comments
The office of Georgia Secretary of State announced last Sunday that an investigation into the state’s Democratic Party has been opened for an alleged failed cyber-attack on the state’s voter registration system.
Press Secretary Candice Broce said that they have also asked the FBI to launch a probe into the alleged attacks on the system including the My Voter Page.
While not a lot of details were provided, it was noted that Georgia’s Secretary of State is Brian Kemp, the Republican’s Party nominee for the gubernatorial election.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Party complained that the move was a “dirty shot” by Kemp’s office against their nominee Stacey Abrams.
