Germany to Invest 3 Million in AI

A recent draft paper revealed that the German government has prepared 3 million euros for research and development of artificial intelligence.

It is said that Berlin is getting increasingly concerned that AI and digital technologies are now posing a challenge to the country’s traditional export-focused manufacturing industries.

The paper also stressed that while the government wants to push the application of AI, Germany’s privacy-conscious society is still nervous about the impact the technology may bring, which is why it must be embedded in a framework that protects social values and individual rights.
