Google Says AI Can Transform Health Care Without Compromising Privacy
In a recent interview, executive advisor to Google’s Cloud Health Care and Life Sciences Dr. Toby Cosgrove said that AI and machine learning can revolutionize health care without any privacy risks.
The statement comes despite recent studies which says that artificial intelligence can bring privacy risks to health data. However, Cosgrove says that there is an enormous amount of data in healthcare which has become a problem to keep track of, which is where cloud providers come in.
The former CEO of Cleveland Clinic added that all the major cloud providers have come to an agreement that they will share unidentified information, and this allows doctors and researchers to dig deeply to find trends and solve problems without compromising patient privacy.
