Gunman Accuses YouTube of Blocking Videos, Shoots 3
A woman was reported to have shot at least 3 people on YouTube’s campus last Tuesday, then turned the gun on herself which resulted to her death.
The suspect, Nasim Najafi Aghdam, allegedly wanted to retaliate against YouTube for filtering her videos and blocking her channel. Her family warned the responding police of her motives, saying that Aghdam was planning to open fire at the company’s headquarters.
The incident had prompted Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey and Uber’s Dara Khosrowshahi to call for stricter gun control laws.
