Iran Accuses Israel of Cyberattack, Vows to Take Legal Action

Iran telecommunications minister Mohammad Javad Azari-Jahromi accused Israel this week of launching a new cyber attack on its telecommunications infrastructure, and said that they will be respond with legal action.

Azari-Jahromi said that their technical team was able to thwart the attack and deputy Hamid Fattahi will be revealing more details in the coming days. He added that the Zionist regime of Israel had a record of using cyber weapons such as Stuxnet which was used to attack Iran’s nuclear program in 2007.

Meanwhile, Gholamreza Jalali, head of Iran’s civil defense agency, said last week that they were able to  neutralize a version of Stuxnet trying to enter their systems.
