Japan to Combat Malicious Software with New Communications Detection System
0 comments
The Japanese government will be developing a new detection system to combat malicious programs affecting telecommunications devices used by various government organizations.
The government said that the technology will use the “behavior method” where communications servers, personal computers, routers and other telecommunications devices are sent signals to check if they function as assumed.
Once abnormal signals are detected, possibly due to smart viruses, the government will replace the affected equipment then ask the device manufacturer to submit product designs and software programs for modification.
