Kaspersky Report Warn of New State-Backed Hackers in Global Cybercrime

Russian cybersecurity firm Kaspersky Labs warned this week that majority of cyber threats in 2019 will likely come from state-sponsored hackers, whose attacks will be wilier and more difficult to detect.
In its new report, Kaspersky said that a number will also come from “energetic” but inexperienced actors looking to join the global cyber threat arena.
Kaspersky researcher Vicente Diaz says that the hundreds of very effective tools which are readily available online, and all kinds of publicly available frameworks has made the entry barrier really low. He added that hacking groups are becoming more prevalent particularly in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
