Kremlin Denies Ukraine Cyber Attack Plan

The Kremlin denied claims last Thursday that it is preparing a cyber attack against Ukrainian state bodies and private companies sometime this Saturday.

In a conference call with the media, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that it is not planning an attack using infected routers, as opposed to claims by cybersecurity companies earlier this week.

The US revealed last Wednesday that it is trying to take back hundreds of thousands of infected routers and storage devices from the control of hackers suspected to be backed by Russia.
