Mark Zuckerberg to Issue Statement on Breach Scandal
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is expected to make an official statement on the privacy scandal that has rocked the tech firm and caused its shares to slide during the past few days.
Axios revealed that the Facebook CEO will try and say something meaningful, with the aim to rebuild consumer trust. He is also likely to mention plans to make the site more secure to restore user confidence.
The tech giant is currently embroiled in a fiasco which involves a data analytics firm, Cambridge Analytica, which was said to have harvested data from the social network and used it to influence the 2016 US elections.
