
Mark Zuckerberg’s Congressional Appearance to be Aired Live
This week, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be facing the a joint hearing of the Senate Judiciary and Commerce committees, and the House Energy and Commerce Committee to give his testimony on the social network’s handling of its user data in the Cambridge Analytica privacy scandal.
Zuckerberg’s first opportunity to face Congress will be streamed online on CBSN, with the Senate testimony airing on April 10, 2:15 pm EST, while the House testimony will be on April 11, 10 am EST.
Zuckerberg has already given an opening statement before his appearance where he took full responsibility for the recent privacy controversies involving his company. The Facebook chief apologized for not taking a broad view of their responsibility and reiterated that it was “his mistake”.
