Morgan Stanley Pushes Collaborations with Tech Startups

Morgan Stanley announced recently that it has sped up the way it collaborates with tech startups by streamlining documentation and broadening the opportunities for executives to evaluate new tech products.

Shawn Melamed, Morgan Stanley’s head of technology business development and innovation office, said that they were able to trim their 20-page vendor agreement to one page and launched a portal for employees to test the new technology.

Melamed adds that the new measures should streamline the traditionally cumbersome procurement process which is one of the biggest challenges faced by entrepreneurs.
