At a recent conference in Berlin, NATO General Andre Lanata urged startups to work with the Atlantic alliance to preserve its longstanding advantage over emerging threats.
NATO is reportedly scrambling to retain its competitive edge against adversaries Russia and China by developing new hi-tech tools such as 3D printed weapon parts deliverable by drone. Lanata added that they are currently focused areas such as artificial intelligence, connectivity, quantum computing, big data and hypervelocity. He also mentioned that they want to learn from DHL and others how to improve the logistics of moving weapons and troops.
