New Digital Exchange Seek Listings from Islamic Fintechs

In an interview this week, Huulk CEO Ibrahim Mohammed said that his company is looking to attract listings from sharia compliant fintech startups.

The new digital exchange, which is part of the OneGram Group of Companies, recently applied for a digital exchange license in Malta and is looking to partner with several European exchanges. The firm is hoping to attract religiously-sensitive Muslim investors and Islamic firms in countries such as Turkey and Malaysia.

The OneGram Group also said that it will be listing its own sharia-compliant cryptocurrency on the exchange by mid-September.
