No Evidence of Hacking Found, Apple Says

Apple informed the US Congress last Sunday that it had found no evidence to indicate that it had been hit by a supply chain attack, as said by Bloomberg in its report last week.

Apple Vice President for Information Security George Stathakopoulos confirmed in a letter that their proprietary security tools which continuously scan for outbound traffic did not indicates the existence of malware or other malicious activity.

Apple’s top security officer also said that they did not find any malicious chips implanted in their servers, and they have never been contacted by the FBI for any related concerns.
