A fan of top YouTube personality PewDiePie reportedly defaced a section of the Wall Street Journal this week in hopes of getting more subscribers for the YouTube star.
The hacker wrote an apology to PewDiePie, and also urged viewers to subscribe. The defacement was taken down hours after by the website’s IT staff.
PewDiePie’s fans had recently been ramping up efforts to get more subscribers as the YouTube star is currently locked in a subscriber race with Indian music channel T-Series. Some of PewDiePie’s fans even resorted to hacking printers to print messages urging people to subscribe.
