Public Funds Push to Oust Zuckerberg as Facebook Head

Four major US public funds that hold shares in Facebook have reportedly filed a proposal this week to remove CEO Mark Zuckerberg from his post.

The proposal was filed by Trillium Asset Management, along with state treasurers from Illinois, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania, and New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer.

Rhode Island State Treasurer Seth Magaziner said that the move should draw attention to Facebook’s problems and generate ideas on how to solve them.

Facebook meanwhile declined to comment.
