Researchers Use AI to Address Issues on Religious Violence
0 comments
Oxford researchers are reportedly studying how artificial intelligence can help prevent religious violence using a model that contains thousands of agents representing different ethnicities, races and religions.
However, independent expert Prof Noel Sharkey says that the software the researchers are developing still needs more work before it can be used in real-life situations.
While Sharkey says that the project can be an extremely useful tool for analyzing factors involved in religious conflict, Norway and Slovakia are already reportedly using the tech to tackle issues arising from the settlement of Muslim immigrants in historically Christian countries.
