SEC Releases MC Extending Deadline of Amnesty Applications

The Securities and Exchange Commission released SEC Memorandum Circular No. 6, Series of 2023 or the Amendment of SEC Memorandum Circular No. 2, Series of 2023, and Extending the Deadline of Amnesty APplications.
Memorandum Circular No. 2, Series of 2023 has set the deadline of April 30, 2023 for the amnesty application and submission of reportorial reports. The application period is thereby extended until June 30, 2023. Furthermore, the MC is amended with the conditions that:
- Eligible corporations shall comply with the complete and correct set of requirements indicated, within 90 days from the date of payment; and that
- The extension shall be automatically applied.
Non-compliance with Item 1 shall be construed as a waiver.
