Singapore Pilots Use of Quarantined Servers to Reduce Attack Surface

Singapore Health Minister Gan Kim Yong revealed this week that they are currently testing the use of quarantined servers to reduce the attack surface of the country’s healthcare systems.

Gan said that using virtual browsers, which are physically or logically segregated from the computer’s OS, should help users browse more safely.

The Minister added that the virtual browser pilot program, as well as the rollout of advanced threat protection, should be completed by the end of the month.
