Tech Giants, Investors, to Watch Korean Summit Closely

Analysts said this week that tech giants such as Apple, Samsung, and their investors will be monitoring the historic meeting of the Korean leaders which is expected to have a profound impact reaching beyond the peninsula.

Companies such as Sony and Apple all heavily rely on components manufactured in South Korea. The country is also home to two of the largest flat panel display manufacturers and Samsung, a world leader in memory chips and any disruption to the supply of components would significantly affect the global economy.
