Teen Usage of Instagram, Snapchat Increase, Facebook Usage Decrease

A new report from investment banking company Piper Jaffray showed that the usage of Snapchat among teens are remain high, but Instagram is closing in with just a 1 percent difference between the two as of Fall 2018.

However, the report also showed a falling usage trend among younger audiences for Facebook, from 60 percent in Spring 2016 to 36 percent at present.

It was noted that while Twitter and Facebook seem to become more relevant over time with usage from older teens, teens across all age groups are actually paying less and less attention to Facebook over time.
