Twitter Launches Ad Transparency Center Ahead of 2018 Elections

Twitter announced Thursday that it has released a tool that will show users who paid for the political ads that appear in their feeds.

Users can also see in the Ad Transparency Center how much advertisers spend and the factors they use for targeting.

A visual badge will now mark ads which are political in nature. According to Twitter’s GM of revenue product Bruce Falck, the newly launched portal will help users easily know which tweets are political campaign ads.
