Two Chinese Charged in US for Hacking NASA, US Navy, Cloud Companies

Two Chinese nationals were charged today by the US DoJ for hacking more than 45 companies, government agencies, and cloud service providers.

 

The attackers are believed to be part of the infamous APT10 cyber-espionage group, a Chinese state-backed hacking unit.

 

Organizations in other countries including Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, India, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom were also reportedly hacked by the cyber-criminals.
