Uber to Delay Shutdown in Singapore until April 15
0 comments
The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) announced this week that Uber will be moving the shutdown of its app in the city-state from April 8 to the 15th.
CCCS began their investigation into the Grab-Uber deal last week and gave interim measures to both companies to maintain their pre-transaction independent pricing.
This week, CCCS said that Grab and Uber had provided them a new set of alternative interim measures and agreed to push back the shutdown of Uber’s app so the regulator can deliberate on the proposed measures.
