Engineer Calls Out Facebook’s Liberal Bias

Around 100 Facebook employees had reportedly joined an online group called “FB’ers for Political Diversity” which was started after senior engineer Brian Amerige posted an internal message last week entitled “We Have A Problem With Political Diversity”.

Amerige said that people at Facebook claim to welcome all perspectives, but are often quick to attack those who appear to be in opposition to left-leaning ideology.

While some employees said that the group appeared to be constructive and welcomed different political viewpoints, it had also upset others who called some of the posts “offensive to minorities”. People who filed complaints against the group were told that it did not go against company rules.
