Facebook, Apple Remove Alex Jones for Violating Community Standards

A number of companies including YouTube, Apple, Facebook and Spotify have decided to take down all content by Alex Jones, saying that the conspiracy theorist had breached community standards.

Jones, who has built a following after founding Infowars in 1999, had his Facebook page removed for uploading content that glorified violence and using dehumanizing language against transgender, Muslims and immigrants.

However, the Infowars app is still available on Apple app store and Google Play. Twitter meanwhile said that the Infowars accounts has not yet violated any of its rules.
